Hair and makeup products I got for Christmas:

My aunt gave me a makeup/ hair accessories travel set which I was excited about since I have so much stuff now. Traveling with my makeup will be much easier.

My parents gave me an ulta giftcard so I decided to use it on a NYX lipgloss in beige( it's really pink) and the too faced naked palette that I have been looking at for a while.

Dj got me a straightner since my old one was useless :) and it is pink!

***For this eye look I was inspired by Makeup Geek's Winter Wonderland tutorial. It came out so pretty.  I think it would even be cute for a New Years look.

lips-violent lips temporary lip tattoo in  red glitteratti

I did end up substituting the temporary lip tattoo  with a nude lip before the end of the night because it ended up being just to much. I had a lot of trouble with the lip tattoo but I think I just have not quite figured it out yet.

***For this eye look I followed MissyCassieB's  smoked golden cranberries tutorial. What i love about this look is you can recreate this eye with whatever gold and red/purple eye shadows that you might have. I followed the products she used for the most part but used my too faced glitter instead. I also chose to make my liner a little bit thicker without the winged edge. It looks pretty both ways. lips- mac's lip liner in Beurre followed by mac's lipstick in midimauve with  benefits lipgloss in "who are you wearing" (any pink gloss will do just to brighten up the lips a little)

for my hair today I wanted to switch it up and get my hair up and off my face so I chose to do Lilith Moon's tuck roll. I love watching her videos and even though I have tried many of her hairstyles before, this is the first one I have successfully completed. It doesn't look as nice as the one  she does it in her video but it works lol. Yes, hairstyling is my weakness.  Here is the link if anyone is interested. So my birchbox finally came in! As soon as I have time to really use the products I can update on how well everything works. I will say though that I tried the recharge eboost since I have already started with the runny nose and congestion (just one Christmas i would like to not be sick lol) and it was kinda yucky to be honest. I drank most of it but could not force myself to drink the whole thing. I hope it works but I don't think I will ever be buying that. My friend Alex tried on the Joer lipgloss last night and it looked really cute on her so I'm excited about that product. Everything else I'm not sure about yet but I will keep you updated on how the products turn out.

Yes! It's a gold bics band! I was sooo happy to get this because they have been sold out of many of them for a while so i was surprised she could find this one. And our gym at the apartment just reopened (they were remodeling it),  so perfect timing :) I wear them everyday regardless if I work out or not so I am really excited about that.


I did sign up for the new  myglam bag and I can't wait till next month to see what I get. If you guys have not checked it out yet it's pretty much like birchbox but mostly makeup products and they give some full size, thats right full size products ( urban decay eyeshadows etc.)! I would suggest signing up to be on their email list because when the monthly bags come in they sell out within the day (that is how popular they are). 
I can't wait to see what January's bag will have in it. Here's the picture they sent me of what the bag would look like:




I'm not sure yet if I am going to keep birchbox. They do need to step it up though cause myglam bag is making them look reallly bad.  Here's a video review on myglam bag by bentley blonde:
