Casual Makeup of the Day for a Casual Day

Looking through all my makeup and nail polishes this morning reminded me how long it's been since I've posted on  this blog. So I figured since it's a casual day I would do a casual makeup look with my favorite nail polish (mod about you). This look was inspired by a makeup look i saw Jaclyn Hill make so i thought i would try to recreate it. I think this may be my new go to look. Never would have thought I would have loved the tempting eyeshadow by mac so much but it is really pretty.

bday gifts, nail polish swatches and some yummy winter soup

Today I also received a bday gift from friend Alesie! :)  I love charmed life from Bath and Body Works so I am so excited! Thank you Alesie!!!!!!

I mentioned in the last post how excited I was about the zoya-noel nail polish I received in my November birchbox. I wanted to post some swatches on how the nail polish looks on.

Essie Power Clutch

I have been waiting to try my Essie nail polish in Power Clutch. I must say I really like it!
  I also have gotten in the habit of automatically putting on the Sally Hansen instant dry top coat so that I don't end up ruining the polish as soon as I put it on lol.

So here's a face of the day I did yesterday before going to work. Nice neutral fall look quick and simple to do:

Here's the makeup i used:

face-revlon photo ready foundation, elf glow bronzer
cheeks-loreal charming cockatoo's blush
eyes- mac's vanilla pigment in inner corner and under the brow as a highlight
          elf's beauty look book neutral eye edition ( bottom row: 1st color on left over the lid, second in
             the crease and third in outer corner)
          covergirl's lash blast volume for mascara  and  maybelline master drama liner in vibrant violet
lips- mac's lipstick in  midimauve with hard candy all american girl gloss over it
